Course Closure Due to Water Shortage

June 29, 2019

As many of you know, we have been unable to pump water from the Santa Fe Wastewater Treatment Plant for almost a week because the water from the plant is not in compliance with the NM Environment Department.  As of today, we are almost out of water and any use of the course may do irreparable damage.

Starting yesterday afternoon, the plant began introducing potable water into the incoming effluent, in hopes of diluting and bringing down the fecal count.  We do not have an estimate from them on when the levels will be brought within acceptable range.

We are shutting down the course, starting tomorrow and will remain closed until we’re allowed to start pumping again.  The driving range, pool, and clubhouse will remain open during the golf course shutdown.

We thank you for your understanding and apologize for the inconvenience.  Please contact me if you have any questions.
